Photo: Rubia, a real model.

I'm not a real artist. I'm not even a real photographer. I am really me though. And that's not as easy as it sounds.

Sometimes I take photographs. Sometimes they're photographs of women. I guess that is the real reason I bought a camera.

The women shown here are people I know, and are all over 18. Models have given model releases for NON COMMERCIAL use of the photographs by me only. This means that if you want to post them elsewhere or copy them, or alter them, you must ask my permission, and in theory I should ask the model. so please do not use these pictures outside DA.....ever, unless you have written permission from me. Use of any of these pictures in an overtly sexual context, by manipulation, or by sharing on explicit sites will result in legal action.
©NeilRoss 2010 -2016 ©NRphotos 2010-2016.

Please enjoy the pics. Please keep the comments respectful, and bear in mind that the young lady you are talking about may be reading what you have written. I have to say that I have never had cause to delete a comment for being inappropriate. So thank you.

Suggestions and criticisms of my photography are always welcome, but just remember I'm an amateur, and I do have feelings. Suggestions for shoots are very welcome. I am often asked if certain models can be tied up and tickled. Maybe yes, but not by me I'm afraid. I should make it clear that I have never had any physical or sexual relationship with any of the models, ever. That is an unbreakable rule. The exception is my wife who appears as a cameo in one of the pics. You will need to search carefully to find her. Just like I did.

I joined as a watcher and that's all I did here for over a year until I started posting my own photographs in 2015, while I was feeling bored in the French Alps. Since then I've loaded 600 pics, then deleted them all, and started all over again, twice. I am temperamental and over sensitive. I can't really change that.

So-so. I moved back to England this summer. After 16 years away. It's been a difficult transition, but it's probably for the best. My little dog died in February from cancer. That was the hardest thing to deal with. He was my whole life, and losing him was unbearable. So moving home has helped me cope with that. Still raw though, and life is full of reminders.

How are You?

I hate to hear that for you, Mr. Neil. There are many types and breeds of great pets, but dogs can become more than a simple pet. Sure, any pet is like that—they become like your children, but something with dogs makes them more, I guess you could say "human" than other animals. Maybe it's just me being biased since I've always had a love for dogs that went beyond other animals, but dogs can share a bond with you in ways most humans can't (and they don't even have to speak in the same language as you). No matter how badly a dog is treated, that dog still will be loyal to its owner and stay by their side despite that owner having zero worth for such a thing. Dogs show us to admire the little things in life, love the simple things. They show a selflessness, a sweet innocence that is very much pure. I've myself lost my bestfriend whom also happened to be a dog; I grew up with him and was with him from day one, including his mother and father. I had him for most of my life and wouldn't have traded him for any other. So, to keep it short, some strangers at the time thought it would be funny to take him and do who knows what to him. I never found out what happened to him after that and it makes my insides peel over thinking of what they may have done to him, a sickening that nausea medicine can't rid. The unknown is all I will ever know of his disappearance. Anywho, I only brought up this one incident so to say I know that deeply stinging, yet somehow numb feeling, of losing someone that means so much to you. I can't say I know exactly how you feel, but maybe this will give you the thought of, your suffering is not an alienated one in this life.

Oh, I'm so sorry that you lost your dog in that way. I just can't understand or bear cruelty.  My lovely Mr Bitey sadly developed cancers on his liver and was ill for only 4 weeks before he died, but apart from becoming a bit lethargic he seemed happy. He ate well and went for walks that were just a bit shorter than normal. He slept on the bed with me every night, and he even managed to run up the stairs to get there, right until the night before he died.  He just got slower. The vet was brilliant, but I knew she couldn't cure him, so we agreed to just keep him comfortable. I was lying on the duvet holding him when he died peacefully.  I think about him all the time.

I just noticed.....you removed all your art and poetry.....why?
